Boys CYO Basketball

CYO Basketball Program Overview

CYO Parent Responsibilities

  • All coaches MUST have their clearances up to date prior to coaching one of our teams.  There are no exceptions whether you are a head coach or an assistant coach.  https://www.stgenscyo.com/clearance

  • Parent behavior MUST be in check or there will be consequences.  There will be NO arguing calls with the referee and there will be NO chatter whatsoever with the opposing fans, players, or coaches.  Let’s all make sure we are representing St. Genevieve’s in the best way possible.

  • As parents, siblings, extended family and guests of all of these gymnasiums we play in across our region, it is expected that we all supervise and have accountability for any other children that are with you in attendance at these games.  Children should not be unsupervised and allowed to roam/run through hallways, library’s and classrooms while in these schools.  There are cameras everywhere and the schools are watching.

  • Like any community/parish based athletic program, volunteerism is essential for survival and success. We understand that we all have busy lives, but the CYO program can always use the extra help to make this program successful. If coaching isn't your thing, but would like to provide some help where you can, please let us know! There are plenty of ways to help with basketball and the success of the CYO program
