Novice league does not normally get started until after the holidays, please be patient as we get the other programs up and running before we shift to the novice program.

Pre-season skills clinic(s) (dates TBD) will be scheduled to get the kids together, gauge ability level, and player size - in an attempt to ensure rosters are created fairly.

Each player will be given a game t-shirt as their uniform for the season that they will be able to keep.  Players wear their own shorts, as the league doesn’t provide shorts for novice program uniforms.

Practices will be at the discretion of the coaches based on gym availability.

Most games are played on Saturday mornings and afternoons, but some other teams in the region may have additional gym time where games could be played on other days/evenings.  

All home games for the SGS novice program are played at the Township Recreation Center on Willow Grove Ave in Wyndmoor.

Games will be played against other St Gens CYO teams as well as against other teams from local region CYO parishes.

Score is not kept unless agreed to by each of the coaches playing.

There are no playoffs for this age group.

A postseason pizza party and round robin will be scheduled.
